About Positive Link

Positive Link is a program of the Minnesota AIDS Project run by and for gay and bisexual men living with HIV. Every month we host social and educational events that bring members of our community together. Additionally, we maintain connections to local resources, programs and clinics to bring you the most up–to–date, scientifically accurate information about living with HIV and other aspects of sexual health. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been living with HIV for several years, Positive Link has something for you. For more information about the program or to sign up for our weekly email, please contact either Steve or Nick below.

My name is Steve Wolfgram; I have lived in Minneapolis since 1992, after having lived in Chicago and Dallas. I tested positive for HIV in 1996, and believe that I became infected before moving to the Twin Cities. After being involved with Positive Link for about a year, a new staff position was added to the program. I applied for this position so that I would be able to make the same difference in peoples' lives that Positive Link had made in mine.

My name is Nick Schrott, and I have been working in the field of health education since May 2007. I'm a Minnesota native and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2004 with a B.A. in journalism and spent the next few years working part time as a freelance writer for Lavender Magazine. In the summer of 2006, I received my HIV diagnosis and shortly thereafter, found my way to Positive Link. This program has served as a great opportunity, allowing me to meet some of the most amazing people and learn from their experiences living with HIV.
